Pat has a long clinical and administrative career in healthcare and service organizations. Beginning with a Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy and a specialty in Neuro-Developmental Training, she began her clinical work in 1972. She moved into administrative positions early in her career while simultaneously working toward a Masters in Public Administration. Community service was prominent in her career path as Executive Director of two non-profit organizations, Continuing Education Director at a private college, and her own community activism. Later in her career, Pat returned to graduate study earning a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Again mixing her clinical and administrative skills, she was instrumental in developing the Acupuncture clinic at Kaiser Permanente SF's Chronic Pain Management Center where she currently is employed. Pat has done extensive traveling especially in Asian countries where she seeks out remote village experiences and direct contact with the local indigenous people. This has opened her eyes to the global needs of others and the importance of service beyond self and borders. ProsthetiKa is indeed fortunate to have Pat on the team.
